ABOUT THE AUTHOR

Gabriel Baptiste is the 11th child of Eden and Emilia Baptiste. He was born and raised on the green, lush, verdant, and mountainous paradise called Dominica. His father was adamant in drilling into him hard work, discipline, and industry. In 1976 he immigrated to the U.S. territory of St Croix, and finally to the mainland U.S.A. in 1983. Gabriel is currently married to the beautiful Daisy Baptiste, has four grown children and a nest full of grandchildren and great grandchildren. After completing a degree in pastoral ministry at Washington Adventist University and a brief stint at Andrews University in Michigan, he terminated his formal academic pursuits. Presently, he resides in the picturesque State of Maryland where he enjoys writing, serves as an ordained elder, reads voraciously, enjoys plane spotting, takes walks in the park with Daisy, and teaches Sabbath School at the Seabrook Seventh Day Adventist Church.
